Countryside Survey

Countryside Survey is a world-leading study of the natural resources of the UK’s countryside. It provides information to policymakers and others about gradual changes in the countryside over time. The 2007 Survey, which will report in 2008, is the fifth to be carried out since 1978.

Countryscape was initially called upon to revitalise the project’s brand identity and develop a detailed communications strategy for the period 2006 – 2010. Amongst other work, this has included the development of an ‘Identity Guidelines’ document and standardised desktop publishing templates; the production of print literature and display materials; the design of a new website; and expert input at stakeholder meetings. A further contract has since been awarded to Countryscape for ongoing work in support of Countryside Survey communications up to January 2008.
