Community Consultation
Design and management of a consultation programme, aiming to engage local community groups in the Havant Borough Landscape Character Assessment (LCA). This work has involved a three stage process: 1) development of a postal ‘Consultation Pack’ containing clearly worded instructions, maps and other resources, enabling community groups to comment upon the draft assessment; 2) facilitation of interactive workshops with community groups to explore the local sense of place and visions for future development; 3) production of a consultation report for use by a broad public/professional audience. Countryscape has also contributed to the LCA itself through the supply of landscape consultancy services.
