Thinkit is a tool for encouraging participatory discussion and decision-making. It is inspired by the concept of ‘mind mapping’ - a graphic technique for brainstorming by linking and arranging ideas around a central concept. Thinkit is being developed by Dr Joanne Tippett at The University of Manchester as a commercial product, due for launch in 2008. Countryscape is currently working with Dr Tippett in developing the Thinkit brand and producing a range of marketing materials, including a website and a visual guide to using the product.
