Countryscape offers a complete and competitively priced photographic service – covering everything from professional image capture to photo manipulation, re-touching and printing. Our in-house team has expertise in landscape photography, portraiture and reportage, using the latest digital technology to produce high quality, high-resolution images.
As part of this service, we are able to produce the latest High Dynamic Range (HDR) images – a technique that allows far greater dynamic range of exposures than normal digital photographs (ie. a larger difference between light and dark areas). HDR images are used to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in the real world, ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows. For this reason, they are ideally suited to panoramic landscape photography, which typically involves a wide dynamic range (eg. one part of the panorama may contain the sun, another part may be in shadow). The result is a panorama that looks far better than non-HDR equivalents, as illustrated below.
In addition to image capture, we also offer an image sourcing service in cases where photographs are required in bulk to meet tight deadlines, or cannot be captured easily for reasons of location, seasonality, subject matter, etc.
Furthermore, we are happy to work with existing images in any format, and through our partners, offer a high-resolution image scanning service, suitable for large format displays and exhibitions.
