Cartography and Map Production

Countryscape provides bespoke cartography to suit all mapping applications. Our clear and engaging cartographic style is ideal for background mapping in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). In addition, we are able to provide custom-made thematic maps, designed to communicate patterns and trends in a form that can be easily understood by all members of an organisation.

Countryscape also has access to the latest printing technologies, ensuring that all of our paper maps are of the highest quality. We are capable of supplying large format reproductions for display purposes, as well as sustainable products, printed using recycled paper and vegetable oil-based inks.

Examples of work include the design and print of the new Character Map of England (19,000 copies produced to date), and the supply of maps as part of the Whinash Windfarm Enquiry (both on behalf of The Countryside Agency). We have also produced a wide range of bespoke maps for local authorities, private businesses and NGOs, including walking maps for the Forest of Bowland AONB and the Irk Valley Project, Manchester.
